Tsaritsyno is a palace museum and park reserve in the south of Moscow. It was built in 1776 by the order of Catherine the Great. The «Circle of Light» Moscow international festival which is an annual event chose Tsaritsyno Palace for it's Modern Category where lighting designers and specialists in audiovisual art from various countries to reinvent the Palace's architectural scene by using video mapping. Studio Trika was one of the top 15 finalist. Under the Modern nomination, the approach this year was with abstract themes and the artwork was named “Emotion Active”. The artwork was created to transform the classical Russian monument with abstract graphics, each expressing a unique emotion.
